|---|---|
| Platforms | Select one or more platforms (cross-posting) |
| Content Text | The caption or body of your post |

Platform-Specific Character Limits
| Platform | Character Limit |
|---|---|
| Twitter/X | 280 characters |
| 3,000 characters | |
| 63,206 characters | |
| 2,200 characters | |
| 500 characters (description) | |
| TikTok | 2,200 characters |
Automrktr shows a real-time character count and highlights if you exceed a platform's limit.
Cross-Posting
You can post the same content to multiple platforms at once by selecting multiple platforms. Automrktr sends the post independently to each platform so each gets its own engagement metrics.
Tip: Content that works great on LinkedIn (long-form, professional) may need a shorter, punchier version for Twitter/X. Use the AI generator to create platform-specific variants.
Scheduling Posts
Manual Scheduling
1. In the post editor, set a Scheduled Date and Time.
2. The time shown is your local browser time — Automrktr stores and delivers in UTC.
3. Click Schedule to confirm. The post status becomes Scheduled.
Scheduling from the Calendar
- Drag any Draft post from the post list and drop it onto a calendar slot.
- The post's scheduled time updates automatically.
- Drag a Scheduled post to a different slot to reschedule.
Best Times to Post
Automrktr analyzes your historical post performance to suggest optimal posting times. Go to Analytics → Best Times to see a heatmap of when your audience is most engaged. You can apply these suggestions directly when scheduling.
Post Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Saved but not scheduled or published |
| Pending Approval | Waiting for a reviewer to approve before scheduling |
| Approved | Approved and ready to be scheduled |
| Scheduled | Set to publish at a future date/time |
| Publishing | Currently being sent to the platform |
| Published | Successfully published |
| Failed | Publishing attempt failed (see error details) |
| Cancelled | Manually cancelled before publishing |
Approval Workflow
If a campaign has Requires Approval enabled, posts in that campaign must be approved before they can be scheduled.
For content creators (Org Members):
1. Create your post and click Submit for Approval.
2. The post enters Pending Approval status.
3. An admin or approver will review and either approve or request changes.
For approvers (Org Admins and Owners):
1. You'll receive an in-app notification when a post is pending approval.
2. Go to the post and click Approve or Request Changes.
3. If approved, the post moves to Approved and can be scheduled.
Bulk Import
Upload multiple posts at once using a CSV file.
1. Go to Posts → Import.
2. Download the CSV template.
3. Fill in your posts (platform, content, media URL, scheduled date/time).
4. Upload the completed CSV.
5. Automrktr validates each row and shows any errors before confirming the import.

Editing and Deleting Posts

- Published posts can be deleted from Automrktr's records but the live post on the platform is not removed. You must delete it directly on the platform.
